Mrs. Rita Maria Gianturco, 81, of Alpharetta, passed away February 28, 2013. Rita was born in Naples, Italy to the late Salvatore and Clelia Cacciapuoti, and she came to the USA in her early twenties. She was an Italian teacher for the Department of Agriculture, private and group lessons, and Berlitz. She is survived by her sons, Giulio Gianturco, of Atlanta, and Luca Gianturco, of Canton; grandchildren, Kathleen Gianturco, Gabriella Gianturco, Marco Gianturco, Nina Gianturco, and Carr Gianturco; sister, Maria Cacciapuoti.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2:00 PM at Birmingham United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Union Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
